Frequently asked questions

How do these gloves fit compared to European standards?+

Kushitani gloves have a Japanese cut that is more fitted than European standards, especially in the palm and fingers. If you are between sizes, or prefer a bit more room at the fingertips for better lever feel, we recommend taking the larger size.

How should I care for kangaroo leather after a track session?+

Always let the gloves air dry in the shade, never on a radiator or in direct sunlight. Wipe away sweat salt with a slightly damp microfiber cloth, and apply a nourishing leather balm once or twice a year.

How long is the break-in period for the floating knuckle guards?+

Plan for about 2 to 3 track sessions. The warmth from your hands and movement on the clip-ons will gradually soften the materials, allowing the floating shells to mold to your hand shape.
