The Pista GP RR Rossi Winter Test 2005: the livery from the tests preceding his coronation.
2005: Valentino Rossi is at the peak of his craft, about to win what would be his fifth consecutive MotoGP title. This helmet reproduces the livery worn during the winter tests of this pivotal year, with the Yamaha graphic codes of the era that made it legendary.

Installing an intercom on the Pista GP RR is technically very difficult and strongly discouraged. The EPS liner has no space for speakers, and the cheek pads fit very firmly against the face. Adding earpieces would create unbearable pressure points on the ears.
The visor is 5 mm thick (optical class 1)—twice that of a standard helmet—to resist high-speed debris. The VLS (Visor Lock System) in the center of the chin guard requires firm pressure on a push-button to unlock, preventing accidental opening above 200 km/h.
Yes. The tube that runs along the chin guard and passes under the neck roll is fully removable. If you don't use a water bladder in your suit, it can be easily taken out to declutter the inside of the helmet.
Requirement for FIM certification: in the event of a crash and sliding on the head, plastic could tear off or melt from friction. Metal resists abrasion and protects the carbon shell from direct exposure to obstacles.
Measure the circumference of your head 2 cm above your eyebrows. Between two sizes, choose the larger one.
