Joan Mir approaches the 2021 season with this helmet, worn during the first tests of the year, already a reigning champion following his historic title win at the end of the 2020 season. A sober, work-oriented livery that contrasts with the racing editions: this is the helmet for miles of analysis, not for celebration.

PRO Spoiler Aerodynamics
Designed in a wind tunnel, the Pista GP RR generates no lift or buffeting beyond 300 km/h. Its rear spoiler detaches instantly in the event of an impact to prevent any neck torsion.
190° Ultravision
With a 190° horizontal field of view and 85° vertical, the optical class 1 visor completely eliminates the upper blind spot. In a tucked position on the tank, the track remains fully visible without straining your neck.
Active IVS Ventilation
Machined metal air intakes channel flow directly onto the scalp, while rear extractors immediately vent accumulated heat.
360° Custom Fit + hydration
The patented AGV system allows you to adjust the thickness and position of the crown pads according to your head shape. The integrated hydration tube connects directly to your race suit's water bladder.

Frequently asked questions
Can a standard Bluetooth intercom be installed on the Pista GP RR?+

Installing an intercom on the Pista GP RR is technically very difficult and strongly discouraged. The EPS liner does not provide space for speakers, and the cheek pads exert very firm pressure on the face. Adding headphones would create unbearable pressure points on your ears.

Why is the visor 5 mm thick and how does the locking mechanism work?+

The visor is 5 mm thick (optical class 1), which is double that of a standard helmet, to resist debris at high speeds. The VLS (Visor Lock System) in the center of the chin guard requires firm pressure on a push-button to unlock, preventing accidental opening above 200 km/h.

Is the hydration system removable?+

Yes. The tube that runs along the chin guard and passes under the neck roll is fully removable. If you are not using a water bladder in your race suit, it can be easily removed to streamline the helmet's interior.

Why are the upper vents made of metal instead of plastic?+

Due to FIM certification requirements: in the event of a crash and sliding on the head, plastic could tear off or melt under friction. Metal resists abrasion and protects the carbon shell from direct exposure to obstacles.
