Installing an intercom on the Pista GP RR is technically very difficult and strongly discouraged. The EPS liner has no space for speakers, and the cheek pads exert very firm pressure on the face. Adding earpieces would create unbearable pressure points on the ears.
The visor is 5 mm thick (optical class 1), double that of a standard helmet, to resist debris at high speeds. The VLS (Visor Lock System) in the center of the chin guard requires firm pressure on a push-button to unlock, preventing any accidental opening above 200 km/h.
Yes. The tube that runs along the chin guard and passes under the neck roll is fully removable. If you do not use a water bladder in your suit, it can be easily taken out to clean up the interior of the helmet.
Due to FIM certification requirements: in the event of a fall and sliding on the head, plastic could tear off or melt from the friction. Metal resists abrasion and protects the carbon shell from direct exposure to obstacles.
Measure the circumference of your head 2 cm above your eyebrows. Between two sizes, choose the larger one.
