Installing an intercom on the Pista GP RR is technically very difficult and highly discouraged. The EPS liner does not have any space to accommodate speakers, and the cheek pads exert very firm pressure on the face. Adding headphones would create unbearable pressure points on your ears.
The visor is 5mm thick (optical class 1), double that of a standard helmet, to resist debris at high speeds. The VLS (Visor Lock System) in the center of the chin guard requires firm pressure on a push-button to unlock, preventing accidental opening above 200 km/h.
Yes. The tube that runs along the chin guard and passes under the neck roll is fully removable. If you don't use a hydration bladder in your suit, it can be easily taken out to declutter the inside of the helmet.
FIM certification requirement: in the event of a fall and sliding on your head, plastic could tear off or melt under friction. Metal resists abrasion and protects the carbon shell from direct contact with obstacles.
Measure the circumference of your head 2 cm above your eyebrows. Between two sizes, choose the larger one.
