Installing an intercom on the Pista GP RR is technically very difficult and strongly discouraged. The EPS liner does not provide space for speakers, and the cheek pads provide a very firm fit against the face. Adding earpieces would create unbearable pressure points on your ears.

The visor is 5 mm thick (optical class 1)—twice as thick as a standard helmet visor—to withstand high-speed debris. The VLS (Visor Lock System) in the center of the chin guard requires a firm press on a push-button to unlock, preventing any accidental opening above 200 km/h.

Yes. The tube that runs along the chin guard and passes under the neck roll is fully removable. If you are not using a water bladder in your race suit, it can be easily taken out to keep the interior clean.

It is a requirement for FIM certification: in the event of a fall and sliding on the head, plastic could tear off or melt due to friction. Metal resists abrasion and protects the carbon shell from direct exposure to obstacles.
