Mugello, 2017. Valentino Rossi races at home with a special edition of his helmet, in front of the hundreds of thousands of tifosi who flood the Tuscan circuit's hillside every year. The Mugello livery is a tradition: Rossi systematically customizes it for this event, and the 2017 edition is among the most visually successful.

Installing an intercom on the Pista GP RR is technically very difficult and strongly discouraged. The EPS liner does not provide space for speakers, and the cheek pads exert very firm pressure on the face. Adding earpieces would create unbearable pressure points on the ears.
The visor is 5 mm thick (optical class 1), which is twice that of a standard helmet, to resist debris at high speeds. The VLS (Visor Lock System) in the center of the chin guard requires firm pressure on a push-button to unlock, preventing accidental opening above 200 km/h.
Yes. The tube that runs along the chin guard and passes under the neck roll is entirely detachable. If you do not use a water bladder in your racing suit, it can be easily removed to simplify the inside of the helmet.
A FIM certification requirement: in the event of a fall and sliding on the head, plastic could tear off or melt from friction. Metal resists abrasion and protects the carbon shell from direct exposure to obstacles.
Measure the circumference of your head 2 cm above your eyebrows. Between two sizes, choose the larger one.
