The Pista GP RR Rossi Mugello 2019: the official replica of the helmet worn by Valentino Rossi at the 2019 Italian Grand Prix at the Mugello circuit.

Mugello is Rossi’s home race, in front of tens of thousands of cheering tifosi. The 2019 livery featured the sun yellow and royal blue colors of the Yamaha M1, embellished with the "Doctor's" signature graphics. Reproduced identically on the Pista GP RR’s 100% carbon shell, this edition is as much a collector's item as it is a racing helmet.

Key features
PRO Spoiler aerodynamics
Designed in a wind tunnel, the Pista GP RR generates no lift or buffeting beyond 300 km/h. Its rear spoiler detaches instantly upon impact to prevent cervical rotation.
190° Ultravision
With a 190° horizontal field of view and 85° vertical, the optical class 1 visor completely eliminates the upper blind spot. When tucked on the tank, the track remains fully visible without straining the neck.
Active IVS ventilation
Machined metal air intakes channel the airflow directly onto the skull, while rear extractors immediately evacuate accumulated heat.
360° Custom Fit + hydration
The patented AGV system allows you to adjust the thickness and position of the crown pad according to your head shape. The integrated hydration tube connects directly to the suit's hydration bladder.

Frequently asked questions
Can a standard Bluetooth intercom be installed on the Pista GP RR?+

Installing an intercom on the Pista GP RR is technically very difficult and strongly discouraged. The EPS inner shell does not provide any space to house speakers, and the cheek pads exert a very firm pressure on the face. Adding headphones would create unbearable pressure points on the ears.

Why is the visor 5 mm thick and how does the lock work?+

The visor reaches 5 mm in thickness (optical class 1), which is double that of a standard helmet, to resist impacts at high speeds. The VLS (Visor Lock System) in the center of the chin guard requires firm pressure on a push-button to unlock, preventing any accidental opening above 200 km/h.

Is the hydration system removable?+

Yes. The tube that runs along the chin guard and passes under the neck roll is fully removable. If you do not use a hydration bladder in your suit, it can be easily taken out to clean up the interior of the helmet.

Why are the top vents made of metal and not plastic?+

FIM certification requirement: in the event of a fall and sliding on the head, plastic could tear off or melt under friction. Metal resists abrasion and protects the carbon shell from direct exposure to obstacles.
