99% transmission — zero reflection loss A standard lens lets 4 to 8% of light bounce back inside the headlight. The multi-layer chemical film (magnesium fluoride) cancels these internal reflections and forces virtually all light through the glass. Result: more lumens on the road for the same power consumption.
Beam Quality
Surgical beam — no halos or ghosting Without AR treatment, internal reflections create stray light circles (halos) and contrast loss around the beam. The multi-layer coating ensures a clean, white light on the ground, without blurring or stray diffusion.
Visual Signature
Why this bluish reflection? The thin layer rejects only a tiny fraction of waves at the ends of the spectrum (UV and blue/violet). When the headlight is off and external light strikes the lens, this bluish reflection appears — it is the signature of professional optics.
